* r8152: ecm and vendor modes coexisthayeswang2014-01-141-8/+0
| | | | | | | | | | Remove the limitation that the ecm and r8152 drivers couldn't coexist. - Remove the devices from the blacklist of relative drivers. - Remove usb_driver_set_configuration() from r8152 driver. - Modify the id_table of the r8152 driver for the vendor mode only. * r8152: support RTL8153hayeswang2014-01-011-1/+1
| | | | | | | Support new chip RTL8153 which is the USB 3.0 giga ethernet adapter. Signed-off-by: Hayes Wang <hayeswang@realtek.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* net/usb/r815x: change the return value for bind functionshayeswang2013-07-311-2/+2
| | | | | | | Replace 0 with the result from usbnet_cdc_bind(). Signed-off-by: Hayes Wang <hayeswang@realtek.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* net/usb/r815x: avoid to call mdio functions for runtime-suspended devicehayeswang2013-07-311-1/+13
| | | | | | | | | | Don't replace the usb_control_msg() with usbnet_{read,write}_cmd() which couldn't be called inside suspend/resume callback. Keep the basic functions unlimited. Instead, using usb_autopm_get_interface() and usb_autopm_put_interface() in r815x_mdio_{read,write}(). Signed-off-by: Hayes Wang <hayeswang@realtek.com> Signed-off-by: David S. * net/usb/r815x: replace USB buffer from stack to DMA-ablehayeswang2013-07-311-17/+27
| | | | | | | | | Some USB buffers use stack which may not be DMA-able. Use the buffers from kmalloc to replace those one. Signed-off-by: Hayes Wang <hayeswang@realtek.com> Acked-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>

* net/usb: add relative mii functions for r815xhayeswang2013-07-111-0/+231
Base on cdc_ether, add the mii functions for RTL8152 and RTL8153. The RTL8152 and RTL8153 support ECM mode which use the driver of cdc_ether. Add the mii functions. Then, the basic PHY access is possible. Signed-off-by: Hayes Wang <hayeswang@realtek.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
