* dpaa_eth: use only online CPU portalsMadalin Bucur2019-05-281-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | Make sure only the portals for the online CPUs are used. Without this change, there are issues when someone boots with maxcpus=n, with n < actual number of cores available as frames either received or corresponding to the transmit confirmation path would be offered for dequeue to the offline CPU portals, getting lost. * ptp_qoriq: make structure/function names more consistentYangbo Lu2019-02-121-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | Strings containing "ptp_qoriq" or "qoriq_ptp" which were used for structure/function names were complained by users. Let's just use the unique "ptp_qoriq" to make these names more consistent. This patch is just to unify the names using "ptp_qoriq". It hasn't changed any functions. * dpaa_eth: add ethtool coalesce controlMadalin Bucur2018-11-231-0/+71
| | | | | | | | Allow ethtool control of the DPAA QMan portal interrupt coalescing settings. Signed-off-by: Madalin Bucur <madalin.bucur@nxp.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* net: ethernet: dpaa: remove unused variablesArnd Bergmann2018-09-281-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | The patch that removed the only users of the oldadv/newadv variables accidentally left the now-unused declarations behind: drivers/net/ethernet/freescale/dpaa/dpaa_ethtool.c: In function 'dpaa_set_pauseparam': drivers/net/ethernet/freescale/dpaa/dpaa_ethtool.c:185:14: error: unused variable 'oldadv' [-Werror=unused-variable] drivers/net/ethernet/freescale/dpaa/dpaa_ethtool.c:185:6: error: unused variable 'newadv' [-Werror=unused-variable] Fixes: 70814e819c11 ("net: ethernet: Add helper for set_pauseparam for Asym Pause") Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de> Signed-off-by: David S. * net: ethernet: Add helper to determine if pause configuration is supportedAndrew Lunn2018-09-121-3/+1
| | | | | | | | | Rather than have MAC drivers open code the test, add a helper in phylib. This will help when we change the type of phydev->supported. * net: ethernet: Add helper for set_pauseparam for Asym PauseAndrew Lunn2018-09-121-22/+1
| | | | | | | | | ethtool can be used to enable/disable pause. Add a helper to configure the PHY when asym pause is supported. Signed-off-by: Andrew Lunn <andrew@lunn.ch> Reviewed-by: Florian Fainelli <f.fainelli@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* dpaa_eth: add the get_ts_info interface for ethtoolYangbo Lu2018-06-261-0/+39
| | | | | | | | | | Added the get_ts_info interface for ethtool to check the timestamping capability. * dpaa_eth: use true and false for boolean valuesGustavo A. R. Silva2018-03-231-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | Assign true or false to boolean variables instead of an integer value. This issue was detected with the help of Coccinelle. Signed-off-by: Gustavo A. R. Silva <gustavo@embeddedor.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* dpaa_eth: fix pause capability advertisement logicJake Moroni2018-02-191-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | The ADVERTISED_Asym_Pause bit was being improperly set when both rx and tx pause were enabled. When rx and tx are both enabled, only the ADVERTISED_Pause bit is supposed to be set. * dpaa_eth: enable Rx hashing controlMadalin Bucur2017-08-281-0/+113
| | | | | | | | | Allow ethtool control of the Rx flow hashing. By default RSS is enabled, this allows to turn it off by bypassing the FMan Keygen block and sending all traffic on the default Rx frame queue.
