* mfd: mt6397: Extract IRQ related code from core driverHsin-Hsiung Wang2019-08-121-146/+0
| | | | | | | | | In order to support different types of irq design, we decide to add separate irq drivers for different design and keep mt6397 mfd core simple and reusable to all generations of PMICs so far. * mfd: mt6397: Do not call irq_domain_remove if PMIC unsupportedNicolas Boichat2019-01-031-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | If the PMIC ID is unknown, the current code would call irq_domain_remove and panic, as pmic->irq_domain is only initialized by mt6397_irq_init. Return immediately with an error, if the chip ID is unsupported. Signed-off-by: Nicolas Boichat <drinkcat@chromium.org> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>
* mfd: mt6397: Add PMIC keys support to MT6397 driverChen Zhong2018-04-161-1/+21
| | | | | | | | This patch adds compatible strings and interrupts for pmic keys which serves as child device of MFD. Signed-off-by: Chen Zhong <chen.zhong@mediatek.com> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>
* mfd: mt6397: Create irq mappings in mfd core driverChen Zhong2018-04-161-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | The core driver should create and manage irq mappings instead of leaf drivers. This patch change to pass irq domain to devm_mfd_add_devices() and it will create mapping for irq resources automatically. And remove irq mapping in rtc driver since this has been done in core driver. * mfd: mt6397: Add MT6323 LED support into MT6397 driverSean Wang2017-02-131-0/+4
| | | | | | | | | Add compatible string as "mt6323-led" that will make the OF core spawn child devices for the LED subnode of that MT6323 MFD device. Signed-off-by: Sean Wang <sean.wang@mediatek.com> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>
* mfd: mt6397: IRQ domain should initialize before mfd_add_devices()Henry Chen2016-05-091-9/+13
| | | | | | | | | | Some sub driver like RTC module need irq domain from parent to create irq mapping when driver initialize. so move mt6397_irq_init() before mfd_add_devices(). | | | | | | | | | | | Use devm_mfd_add_devices() for MFD devices registration and get rid of .remove callback to remove MFD child-devices. This is done by managed device framework. * mfd: mt6397: Add platform device ID tableJavier Martinez Canillas2016-03-161-1/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | The platform bus_type .match callback attempts to match the platform device name with an entry on the .id_table if provided and fallbacks to match with the driver's name if a table is not provided. Using a platform device ID to match is more explicit, allows the driver to support more than one device and also the MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE macro can be used to export the module aliases information instead of the MODULE_ALIAS. | | | | | | | | | | | Use irq_desc_get_xxx() to avoid redundant lookup of irq_desc while we already have a pointer to corresponding irq_desc. * mfd: Kill off set_irq_flags usageRob Herring2015-08-111-4/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | set_irq_flags is ARM specific with custom flags which have genirq equivalents. Convert drivers to use the genirq interfaces directly, so we can kill off set_irq_flags. The translation of flags is as follows: IRQF_VALID -> !IRQ_NOREQUEST IRQF_PROBE -> !IRQ_NOPROBE IRQF_NOAUTOEN -> IRQ_NOAUTOEN For IRQs managed by an irqdomain, the irqdomain core code handles clearing and setting IRQ_NOREQUEST already, so there is no need to do this in .map() functions and we can simply remove the set_irq_flags calls. Some users also modify IRQ_NOPROBE and this has been maintained although it is not clear that is really needed. There appears to be a great deal of blind copy and paste of this code. * mfd: Add support for the MediaTek MT6397 PMICFlora Fu2015-03-041-0/+227
This adds support for the MediaTek MT6397 PMIC. This is a multifunction device with the following sub modules: - Regulator - RTC - Audio codec - GPIO - Clock It is interfaced to the host controller using SPI interface by a proprietary hardware called PMIC wrapper or pwrap. MT6397 MFD is a child device of the pwrap. Signed-off-by: Flora Fu, MediaTek Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>
