* [media] V4L: replace soc-camera specific soc_mediabus.h with v4l2-mediabus.hGuennadi Liakhovetski2011-11-031-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | Most users of the <media/soc_mediabus.h> header only need pixel code definitions, which are now located in the generic <linux/v4l2-mediabus.h> header. Switch over to reduce soc-camera dependencies. Signed-off-by: Guennadi Liakhovetski <g.liakhovetski@gmx.de> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>
* [media] V4L: soc-camera: start removing struct soc_camera_device from client ↵Guennadi Liakhovetski2011-11-031-17/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | drivers Remove most trivial uses of struct soc_camera_device from most client drivers, abstracting some of them inside inline functions. Next steps will eliminate remaining uses and modify inline functions to not use struct soc_camera_device. * [media] V4L: ov9740: remove superfluous soc-camera client operationsGuennadi Liakhovetski2011-11-031-21/+1
| | | | | | | | | Now that all soc-camera hosts have been ported to use V4L2 subdevice mediabus-config operations and soc-camera client bus-parameter operations have been made optional, they can be removed. * [media] V4L: ov9740: support the new mbus-config subdev opsGuennadi Liakhovetski2011-11-031-7/+26
| | | | | | | | Extend the driver to also support [gs]_mbus_config() subdevice video operations. Signed-off-by: Guennadi Liakhovetski <g.liakhovetski@gmx.de> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>
* [media] V4L: soc-camera: remove soc-camera bus and devices on itGuennadi Liakhovetski2011-07-271-10/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | Now that v4l2 subdevices have got their own device objects, having one more device in soc-camera clients became redundant and confusing. This patch removes those devices and the soc-camera bus, they used to reside on. * [media] V4L: ov9740: Add suspend/resumeAndrew Chew2011-07-271-0/+28
| | | | | | | | | On suspend, remember whether we are streaming or not, and at what frame format, so that on resume, we can start streaming again. * [media] V4L: ov9740: Reorder video and core opsAndrew Chew2011-07-271-93/+93
| | | | | | | | | This is to avoid needing a forward declaration when ov9740_s_power() (in the subsequent patch) calls ov9740_s_fmt(). Signed-off-by: Andrew Chew <achew@nvidia.com> Signed-off-by: Guennadi Liakhovetski <g.liakhovetski@gmx.de> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>
* [media] V4L: ov9740: Remove hardcoded resolution regsAndrew Chew2011-07-271-96/+114

* [media] V4L: ov9740: Fixed some settingsAndrew Chew2011-07-271-1/+9
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Based on vendor feedback, should issue a software reset at start of day. Also, OV9740_ANALOG_CTRL15 needs to be changed so the sensor does not begin streaming until it is ready (otherwise, results in a nonsense frame for the initial frame). Added a comment on using discontinuous clock. Finally, OV9740_ISP_CTRL19 needs to be changed to really use YUYV ordering (the previous value was for VYUY). * [media] V4L: ov9740: Correct print in ov9740_reg_rmw()Andrew Chew2011-07-271-2/+4
| | | | | | | | | The register width of the ov9740 is 16-bits, so correct the debug print to reflect this. Signed-off-by: Andrew Chew <achew@nvidia.com> Signed-off-by: Guennadi Liakhovetski <g.liakhovetski@gmx.de> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>
* [media] V4L: ov9740: Cleanup hex casing inconsistenciesAndrew Chew2011-07-271-56/+55

* [media] V4L: Initial submit of OV9740 driverAndrew Chew2011-03-211-0/+1009
This soc_camera driver is for Omnivision's OV9740 sensor. This initial submission provides support for YUV422 output at 1280x720 (720p), which is the sensor's native resolution. 640x480 (VGA) is also supported, with cropping and scaling performed by the sensor's ISP. This driver is heavily based off of the existing OV9640 driver.
