* sh: Fix PCI BAR address-space wraparound.Hideo Saito2007-03-121-0/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When a SH7751R system includes a card that has wide range space like a graphics card, the pci-pci bridge controller can't set the correct address range. For example, when *lower_limit is 0xfd000000 and bar_size is 0x4000000, in the following code at arch/sh/drivers/pci/pci-auto.c, 0x0 is set in bar_value. pciauto_setup_bars() { ... bar_value = ((*lower_limit - 1) & ~(bar_size - 1)) + bar_size; ... *lower_limit = bar_value + bar_size; } As a result, 0x4000000 is set in *lower_limit, but this value is wrong. The following patch avoids this problem by checking the range of the value and refusing to update the BAR if the calculated value ends up being bogus. * sh: Kill off dead bigsur and ec3104 boards.Paul Mundt2007-02-143-93/+0
| | | | | | | | Neither of these have had any maintenance in years, and there's no interest in keeping them straggling along. These have already been slated for removal some time, so finally just get rid of them. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: sh775x/titan fixes for irq header changes.Jamie Lenehan2006-12-061-14/+10
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The following moves the creation of IPR interupts into setup-7750.c and updates a few other things to make it all work after the "Drop CPU subtype IRQ headers" commit. It boots and runs fine on my titan board. - adds an ipr_idx to the ipr_data and uses a function in the subtype code to calculate the address of the IPR registers - adds a function to enable individual interrupt mode for externals in the subtype code and calls that from the titan board code instead of doing it directly. - I changed the shift in the ipr_data to be the actual # of bits to shift, instead of the numnber / 4 - made it easier to match with the manual. * sh: Drop CPU subtype IRQ headers.Paul Mundt2006-12-061-0/+14
| | | | | | | | | | | | | This drops the various IRQ headers that were floating around and primarily providing hardcoded IRQ definitions for the various CPU subtypes. This quickly got to be an unmaintainable mess, made even more evident by the subtle breakage introduced by the SH-2 and SH-2A changes. Now that subtypes are able to register IRQ maps directly, just rip all of the headers out. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: Cleanup board header directories.Paul Mundt2006-10-192-15/+11
| | | | | | | | Now with the ide.h mess sorted out, most of these boards don't need their own directory. Move the headers out, and update the driver paths. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: Fix pr_debug statements for sh4Jamie Lenehan2006-10-061-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | Fix a problem uncovered by the recent change to always check the arguments to pr_debug. The sh7751 was using the wrong name for the PCI IO base address. Signed-off-by: Jamie Lenehan <lenehan@twibble.org> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>

* sh: Inhibit mapping PCI apertures through page tables.Paul Mundt2006-09-271-11/+9
| | | | | | | | | | Inhibit mapping through page tables in __ioremap() for PCI memory apertures on SH7751 and SH7780-style PCI controllers, translation is not possible for these areas. For other users that map a small window in P1/P2 space, ioremap() traps that already, and should never make it to __ioremap(). Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: Consolidated SH7751/SH7780 PCI support.Paul Mundt2006-09-2720-932/+638
| | | | | | | | This cleans up quite a lot of the PCI mess that we currently have, and attempts to consolidate the duplication in the SH7780 and SH7751 PCI controllers. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>

* sh: ioremap() overhaul.Paul Mundt2006-09-271-4/+17
| | | | | | | | | | ioremap() overhaul. Add support for transparent PMB mapping, get rid of p3_ioremap(), etc. Also drop ioremap() and iounmap() routines from the machvec, as everyone can use the generic ioremap() API instead. For PCI memory apertures and other special cases, use the pci_iomap() API, as boards are already required to get the mapping right there. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
