* s390/crypto: Don't panic after crypto instruction failuresJan Glauber2012-11-231-3/+6
| | | | | | | | | Remove the BUG_ON's that check for failure or incomplete results of the s390 hardware crypto instructions. Rather report the errors as -EIO to the crypto layer. Signed-off-by: Jan Glauber <jang@linux.vnet.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Martin Schwidefsky <schwidefsky@de.ibm.com>
* s390: add missing module.h/export.h includesHeiko Carstens2011-10-311-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Fix several compile errors on s390 caused by splitting module.h. Some include additions [e.g. qdio_setup.c, zfcp_qdio.c] are in anticipation of pending changes queued for s390 that increase the modular use footprint. [PG: added additional obvious changes since Heiko's original patch] Signed-off-by: Heiko Carstens <heiko.carstens@de.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Paul Gortmaker <paul.gortmaker@windriver.com>
* crypto: sha-s390 - Reset index after processing partial blockHerbert Xu2011-02-071-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | The partial block handling in sha-s390 is broken when we get a partial block that is followed by an update which fills it with bytes left-over. Instead of storing the newly left-over bytes at the start of the buffer, it will be stored immediately after the previous partial block. This patch fixes this by resetting the index pointer. * tree-wide: fix 'lenght' typo in comments and codeDaniel Mack2010-02-051-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | Some misspelled occurences of 'octet' and some comments were also fixed as I was on it. * crypto: sha-s390 - Switch to shashHerbert Xu2009-02-181-8/+12
| | | | | | | | This patch converts the S390 sha algorithms to the new shash interface. With fixes by Jan Glauber. Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>
* [CRYPTO] sha512: Hardware acceleration for s390Jan Glauber2008-04-211-2/+9
| | | | | | | Exploit the System z10 hardware acceleration for SHA512. Signed-off-by: Jan Glauber <jang@linux.vnet.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>
* [CRYPTO] s390: Generic sha_update and sha_finalJan Glauber2008-04-211-0/+90
The sha_{update|final} functions are similar for every sha variant. Since that is error-prone and redundant replace these functions by a shared generic implementation for s390. Signed-off-by: Jan Glauber <jang@linux.vnet.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>
