* powerpc/mm: Properly wire up get_user_pages_fast() on 32-bitBenjamin Herrenschmidt2009-03-111-1/+15
| | | | | | | | While we did add support for _PAGE_SPECIAL on some 32-bit platforms, we never actually built get_user_pages_fast() on them. This fixes it which requires a little bit of ifdef'ing around. Signed-off-by: Benjamin Herrenschmidt <benh@kernel.crashing.org>
* powerpc: Get USE_STRICT_MM_TYPECHECKS working againDavid Gibson2008-10-141-3/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | The typesafe version of the powerpc pagetable handling (with USE_STRICT_MM_TYPECHECKS defined) has bitrotted again. This patch makes a bunch of small fixes to get it back to building status. It's still not enabled by default as gcc still generates worse code with it for some reason. * powerpc/mm: Lockless get_user_pages_fast() for 64-bit (v3)Nick Piggin2008-07-301-0/+280
Implement lockless get_user_pages_fast for 64-bit powerpc. Page table existence is guaranteed with RCU, and speculative page references are used to take a reference to the pages without having a prior existence guarantee on them.
