* openrisc: use generic strnlen_user() functionJonas Bonn2012-05-271-0/+1
| | | | | | | The generic version is both easier to support and more correct. Signed-off-by: Jonas Bonn <jonas@southpole.se> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>
* openrisc: use generic strncpy_from_userJonas Bonn2012-05-251-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | As per commits 2922585b9329 ("lib: Sparc's strncpy_from_user is generic enough, move under lib/") and 92ae03f2ef99 ("x86: merge 32/64-bit versions of 'strncpy_from_user()' and speed it up"), and corresponding discussion on linux-arch. | * timers: Fixup the Kconfig consolidation falloutThomas Gleixner2012-05-211-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Sigh, I missed to check which architecture Kconfig files actually include the core Kconfig file. There are a few which did not. So we broke them. Instead of adding the includes to those, we are better off to move the include to init/Kconfig like we did already with irqs and others. This does not change anything for the architectures using the old style periodic timer mode. It just solves the build wreckage there. For those architectures which use the clock events infrastructure it moves the include of the core Kconfig file to "General setup" which is a way more logical place than having it at random locations specified by the architecture specific Kconfigs. * | openrisc: implement irqdomainsJonas Bonn2012-05-081-0/+1

* cpu: Register a generic CPU device on architectures that currently do notBen Hutchings2012-01-111-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | frv, h8300, m68k, microblaze, openrisc, score, um and xtensa currently do not register a CPU device. Add the config option GENERIC_CPU_DEVICES which causes a generic CPU device to be registered for each present CPU, and make all these architectures select it. Richard Weinberger <richard@nod.at> covered UML and suggested using per_cpu. Signed-off-by: Ben Hutchings <ben@decadent.org.uk> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>

* | doc: fix broken referencesPaul Bolle2011-09-271-1/+1
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | There are numerous broken references to Documentation files (in other Documentation files, in comments, etc.). These broken references are caused by typo's in the references, and by renames or removals of the Documentation files. Some broken references are simply odd. Fix these broken references, sometimes by dropping the irrelevant text they were part of. Signed-off-by: Paul Bolle <pebolle@tiscali.nl> Signed-off-by: Jiri Kosina <jkosina@suse.cz>
