Having received another series of whitespace patches I decided to do this
once and for all rather than dealing with this kind of patches trickling
in forever.

This warning exists in gcc 4.6.0 and newer. Kernels 2.6.40 and newer use
-Wunused-but-set-variable to suppress it.

It was the last platform under gt64120 and will fit better into the new
platform makefile scheme, if moved.
