* ARM: SAMSUNG: fix to prevent declaring duplicatedKukjin Kim2011-09-151-0/+5
| | | | | | The plat/clock.h revised to prevent declaring duplicated. Signed-off-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com>
* ARM: SAMSUNG: fix watchdog reset issue with clk_get()Marek Szyprowski2011-09-153-7/+17
| | | | | | | | | | clkdev framework uses global mutex to protect clock tree, so it is not possible to call clk_get() in interrupt context. This patch fixes this issue and makes system reset by watchdog call working again. | | | | | | | | | | This patch adds chained IRQ enter/exit functions to timer interrupt handler in order to function correctly on primary controllers with different methods of flow control. * ARM: SAMSUNG: Fix Section mismatch in samsung_bl_set()Kukjin Kim2011-08-191-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | WARNING: vmlinux.o(.text+0xf47c): Section mismatch in reference from the function samsung_bl_set() to the (unknown reference) .init.data:(unknown) The function samsung_bl_set() references the (unknown reference) __initdata (unknown). This is often because samsung_bl_set lacks a __initdata annotation or the annotation of (unknown) is wrong. Signed-off-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com>

| * | ARM: SAMSUNG: use regulator VDD for ADCMyungJoo Ham2011-07-201-4/+27
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch allows the Samsung ADC driver to enable VDD regulator at probe and resume and to disable at exit and suspend. In a platform where ADC's VDD regulator is not "always-on", this control is required although this patch does not provide fine-grained power control (turning on the regulator only when being accessed). However, if VDD regulator ("vdd" for the adc device) is not provided, the regulator control will not be activated because there are platforms that do not provide regulator for ADC device. arch_initcall has been modified to module_init in order to allow regulators to be available at probe. It is over-complex at that point to disable the MMU just to call the resume path. Instead, allow the suspend finisher to return error codes to abort suspend in this circumstance, where the cpu_suspend internals will then unwind the saved state on the stack. Also omit the tlb flush as no changes to the page tables will have happened. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

| | |/ / | |/| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This fixes a regression introduced by e59347a "arm: orion: Use generic irq chip". Depending on the device, interrupts acknowledgement is done by setting or by clearing a dedicated register. Replace irq_gc_ack() with some {set,clr}_bit variants allows to handle both cases. Note that this patch affects the following SoCs: Davinci, Samsung and Orion. Except for this last, the change is minor: irq_gc_ack() is just renamed into irq_gc_ack_set_bit(). For the Orion SoCs, the edge GPIO interrupts support is currently broken. irq_gc_ack() try to acknowledge a such interrupt by setting the corresponding cause register bit. The Orion GPIO device expect the opposite. To fix this issue, the irq_gc_ack_clr_bit() variant is used. Tested on Network Space v2. | |/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch fixes the way of comparison for handling of two or more clock sources for UART. For example, if just only one clock source is defined even though there are two clock sources for UART, the serial driver does not set proper clock up. Of course, it is problem. So this patch changes the condition of comparison to avoid useless setup clock and adds a flag 'NO_NEED_CHECK_CLKSRC' which means selection of source clock is not required. In addition, since the Exynos4210 has only one clock source for UART this patch adds the flag into its common_init_uarts().
