It's a bit all over the map, contents wise. A series of ux500 fixes and cleanups, a bunch of various fixes for OMAP and tegra, and some for Freescale i.MX and even Qualcomm MSM. Note that there's also a patch on this branch to globally turn off -Wmaybe-uninitialized when building with -Os. It's been posted several times by Arnd and no dissent was raised, but nobody seemed interested to pick it up. So here it is, as the topmost patch." * tag 'fixes-nc-for-linus' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc: (70 commits) Turn off -Wmaybe-uninitialized when building with -Os ARM: orion5x: include linux/cpu.h ARM: tegra: call cpu_do_idle from C code ARM: u300: fix ages old copy/paste bug ARM: OMAP2+: add dependencies on ARCH_MULTI_V6/V7 ARM: tegra: solve adr range issue with THUMB2_KERNEL enabled ARM: tegra: fix relocation truncated error when THUMB2_KERNEL enabled ARM: tegra: fix build error when THUMB2_KERNEL enabled ARM: msm: Fix uncompess.h tx underrun check ARM: vexpress: Remove A9 PMU compatible values for non-A9 platforms ARM: cpuimx27 and mbimx27: prepend CONFIG_ to Kconfig macro ARM: OMAP2+: fix typo "CONFIG_BRIDGE_DVFS" ARM: OMAP1: remove "config MACH_OMAP_HTCWIZARD" ARM: mach-imx: mach-imx6q: Fix sparse warnings ARM: mach-imx: src: Include "common.h ARM: mach-imx: gpc: Include "common.h" ARM: mach-imx: avic: Staticize *avic_base ARM: mach-imx: tzic: Staticize *tzic_base ARM: mach-imx: clk: Include "clk.h" ARM: mach-imx: clk-busy: Staticize clk_busy_mux_ops ...
| * ARM: ux500: Use the GPIO regulator framework for SDI0's 'en' and 'vsel'Lee Jones2013-03-011-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | To prevent lots of unnecessary call-backs into platform code, we're now using the GPIO regulator framework to control the 'enable' (en) and 'voltage select' (vsel) GPIO pins which in turn control the MMCI's secondary regulator settings. This already works with Device Tree, but when booting with ATAGs we need to register it as a platform device. * | regulator: ab8500: add support for ab8505Lee Jones2013-04-011-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | To obtain full AB8505 regulator support, the AB8500 regulator driver first needs to know its register layout and their initialisation values for each. That information is provided via a couple of large data structures which we provide here. * | ARM: ux500: Turn off external regulator #1 when early HREFs suspendLee Jones2013-03-291-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When older variants of the HREF (earlier than v22) development platform enter suspend mode, power down EXT_SUPPLY1. Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@opensource.wolfsonmicro.com>
* | regulator: ab8500: Separate regulator and MFD platform dataBengt Jonsson2013-03-221-3/+1
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | The ab8500 MFD should not have knowledge about regulator- specific platform data like number of regulators and regulator registers. As the regulator platform data is about to grow with external regulators, this information is moved to a new structure provided by the regulator driver. * ARM: ux500: Provide SMSC911x fixed-regulator when not booting DTLee Jones2012-09-041-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | The SMSC911x Ethernet chip requires a fixed-regulator in order to function correctly. We have previously provided a means to obtain this during a Device Tree boot, however nothing has been put into place when booting with a non-DT kernel. This patch aims to change that. * regulator: initialization for ab8500 regulatorsBengt Jonsson2011-03-261-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The regulators on the AB8500 have a lot of custom hardware control settings pertaining to 8 external signals, settings which are board-specific and need be provided from the platform at startup. Initialization added for regulators Vana, VextSupply1, VextSupply2, VextSupply3, Vaux1, Vaux2, Vaux3, VTVout, Vintcore12, Vaudio, Vdmic, Vamic1, Vamic2, VrefDDR. * mach-ux500: Updated and connected ab8500 regulator board configurationBengt Jonsson2011-01-121-0/+19
The ab8500 regulator board configuration is updated and put in an array which can easily be used in the MFD board configuration. The regulator board configuration is also added to the MFD configuration in this patch.
