* [ARM] Wrap calls to descriptor handlersRussell King2005-09-042-4/+4
| | | | | | | | | | This is part of Thomas Gleixner's generic IRQ patch, which converts ARM to use the generic IRQ subsystem. Here, we wrap calls to desc->handler() in an inline function, desc_handle_irq(). This reduces the size of Thomas' patch since the changes become more localised. * [ARM] Change irq_chip wake/type methods to set_wake/set_typeRussell King2005-09-041-4/+4
| | | | | | | | This is part of Thomas Gleixner's generic IRQ patch, which converts ARM to use the generic IRQ subsystem. Here, we rename two of the irq_chip methods - wake becomes set_wake, and type becomes set_type. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

* [MFD] Add SA11x0 MCP platform device supportRussell King2005-08-187-0/+48
| | | | | | | | Add platform device data for the SA11x0 MCP device. This allows platforms to customise the configuration of the SA11x0 MCP device according to their needs. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [PATCH] ARM: 2844/1: Add maintainer for Jornada 720Michael Gernoth2005-08-041-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | Patch from Michael Gernoth As discussed on the handhelds.org Jornada mailinglist, I take over maintainership of the currently unmaintained Jornada 720-port in the mainline kernel. * [PATCH] ARM: Remove machine description macrosRussell King2005-07-0311-52/+78
| | | | | | | Remove the pointless machine description macros, favouring C99 initialisers instead. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [PATCH] ARM: replace schedule_timeout() with msleep()Nishanth Aravamudan2005-07-011-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | Use msleep() instead of schedule_timeout() to guarantee the task delays as expected. Neither signals nor wait-queue events are important at this point in the code, I believe. * [PATCH] ARM: Add SA_TIMER flag to timer interruptsRussell King2005-06-262-3/+3
| | | | | | | VST needs to know which timer handler is for the timer interrupt. Mark all timer interrupts with the SA_TIMER flag. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [PATCH] ARM SMP: Fix PXA/SA11x0 suspend resume crashRussell King2005-06-191-0/+2
| | | | | | | We need to re-initialise the stack pointers for undefined, IRQ and abort mode handlers whenever we resume. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

| | | | | | | | | | Patch from Dave Neuer This fixes the "multiple definitions of cpufreq_get" errors on StrongARM-based iPAQs. Signed-off-by: Dave Neuer Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [PATCH] ARM: h3600_irda_set_speed argumentsRussell King2005-04-171-1/+1
| | | | | | | h3600_irda_set_speed() had the wrong type for the "speed" argument. Fix this. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk@arm.linux.org.uk>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
