* ARM: S3C2440: Fix s3c2440 cpufreq compilation post move.Vasily Khoruzhick2010-03-151-0/+311
| | | | | | | Fix compilation issue by moving s3c2440-cpufreq.c into mach-s3c2440 directory Signed-off-by: Vasily Khoruzhick <anarsoul@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
* ARM: S3C2440: Fix plat-s3c24xx move of s3c2440/s3c2442 supportBen Dooks2010-03-042-0/+224
| | | | | | | | | | | Commit 58bac7b8ded70c39bcd5f7037091051c277618aa failed to move the two PLL files s3c2440-pll-12000000.c and s3c2440-pll-16934400.c, so place these in arch/arm/mach-s3c2440 to fix this commit up. As a note, these are not built by the default configuration and thus the failure to move wasn't spotted until much later. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
* ARM: Merge next-samsung-s3c64xx-platdeletionBen Dooks2010-02-221-1/+1
|\ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Merge branch 'next-samsung-s3c64xx-platdeletion' into next-samsung Conflicts: arch/arm/mach-s3c64xx/Makefile (fixed)
| * ARM: SAMSUNG: Remove dma-plat.h to allow plat-s3c64xx to be removedBen Dooks2010-02-211-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | dma-plat.h is the last file left in plat-s3c64xx, but to remove it we must also change the use of dma-plat.h by the core code and the s3c24xx implementation. Rename the s3c24xx dma-plat.h in the common plat-samsung directory as it may be used for other ports. Move the specific dma bits into the mach-s3c64xx directory and update the build as needed. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
* | ARM: S3C244X: Merge plat-s3c24xx s3c2440.h and s3c2442.h into s3c244x.hBen Dooks2010-02-015-5/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Merge these two headers into one, these two SoCs are so similar. Note, correct fault in mach-smdk2443.h including the wrong header. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
* | ARM: S3C24XX: Move S3C2440/S3C2442 plat-s3c24xx support to mach-s3c2440Ben Dooks2010-02-015-0/+526
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Remove the old common S3C2440 and S3C2442 SoC support from plat-s3c24xx into mach-s3c2440 now this directory is serving both SoCs. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
* | ARM: S3C244X: Move S3C2442 code into S3C2440Ben Dooks2010-02-013-0/+179
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Move the remaining S3C2442 code into mach-s3c2440 as there is only one file currently in there and these two SoCs are very similar. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
* | ARM: S3C2440: Fix SMDK2440 SoC selectionBen Dooks2010-02-011-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Fix the entries for SMDK2440 should have allowed for S3C2440 or S3C2440 SoC selection but this depended on ARCH_S3C2440 which has not been around for a while. Remove the dependency to allow this to be selected. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
* | ARM: S3C24XX: Merge s3c2442 and s3c2440 machines into mach-s3c2440Ben Dooks2010-02-014-2/+750
|/ | | | | | | Move the pair of machines in arch/arm/mach-s3c2442 into the mach-s3c2440 directory as the S3C2440 and S3C2442 are very close. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
* ARM: S3C24XX: Add mci platform data set call s3c24xx_mci_set_platdata().Ben Dooks2010-01-192-5/+3
| | | | | | | | | Add a s3c24xx_mci_set_platdata() call for all the machine files that have platform data for the MCI driver. This brings the MCI device into line with the other devices with __initdata and a specific call to ensure the right structure type is being passed. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
* ARM: MINI2440: Remove commented out devices from device arrayBen Dooks2010-01-191-3/+0
| | | | | | | There's no point in having these in until there is proper support for them, so remove as they only confuse the device changing script. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
* ARM: S3C: Rename s3c_device_usb to s3c_device_ohciBen Dooks2010-01-156-6/+6

* ARM: SAMSUNG: Reduce size of struct clk.Ben Dooks2010-01-151-2/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Reduce the size of struct clk by 12 bytes and make defining clocks with common implementation functions easier by moving the set_rate, get_rate, round_rate and set_parent calls into a new structure called 'struct clk_ops' and using that instead. This change does make a few clocks larger as they need their own clk_ops, but this is outweighed by the number of clocks with either no ops or having a common set of ops. Update all the users of this. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
* ARM: MINI2440: Fixup __initdata usageBen Dooks2010-01-151-13/+13
| | | | | | | | Remove some of the __initdata tags which are currently inappropriate for platform_device and some of the platform data. These can be returned once support for copying platform devices and data is added. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add a driver to provide DVS for the Simtec Osiris module to reduce the power consumption whilst idling. The DVS driver alters the voltage supplied to the ARM core depending on the frequency it is running at. The driver itself does not do any of the frequency alteration, which is left up to the cpufreq driver. | | | | | | | | | | | | | The MINI2440 is a chinese made s3c2440 development board with a large set of peripherals. This patch provides machine support for almost all the features of the board. Since it can come with various "options" fitted, a kernel parameter is used to specify the lcd size, backlight control and touchscreen. The following perl was used to change the files: perl -pi~ -e 's/S3C2410_GP([A-Z])([0-9]+)([^_^0-9])/S3C2410_GP\1\(\2\)\3/g' Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
| * [ARM] S3C24XX: GPIO: Move gpio functions out of <mach/hardware.h>Ben Dooks2009-05-183-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Move all the gpio functions out of <mach/hardware.h> as this file is for defining the generic IO base addresses for the kernel IO calls. Make a new header <mach/gpio-fns.h> to take this and include it via the chain from <linux/gpio.h> which is what most of these files should be using (and will be changed as soon as possible). Note, this does make minor changes to some drivers but should not mess up any pending merges. | * [ARM] S3C24XX: GPIO: Remove pin specific input and output definesBen Dooks2009-05-172-5/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The use of S3C2410_GP[A-Z]x_INP and S3C2410_GP[A-Z]x_OUTP are very rare and are taking up large amounts of space in the regs-gpio.h header. The GPIO layer has had generic input and out defines called S3C2410_GPIO_INPUT and S3C2410_GPIO_OUTPUT for a while which work for all S3C24XX GPIOs. Do the following replacements: S3C2410_GP[A-Z][0-9]*_\OUTP => S3C2410_GPIO_OUTPUT S3C2410_GP[A-Z][0-9]*_\INP => /S3C2410_GPIO_INPUT S3C2410_GPA[0-9]*_OUT => S3C2410_GPIO_OUTPUT to remove any usages of these and prepare the header for the removal of these. The following command was used to acheive this: find . -type f -writable ! -name regs-gpio.h ! -name "*~" | xargs sed -i~ -e 's/S3C2410_GP[A-Z][0-9]*_\OUTP/S3C2410_GPIO_OUTPUT/g' -e 's/S3C2410_GP[A-Z][0-9]*_\INP/S3C2410_GPIO_INPUT/g' -e 's/S3C2410_GPA[0-9]*_OUT/S3C2410_GPIO_OUTPUT/g' Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
