* [ARM] 4408/2: Fixup support for gtwx5715 ixp4xx boardMichael-Luke Jones2007-07-121-5/+2
| | | | | | | | | | This patch fixes up compiling of the gtwx5715 board setup code, which has apparently been broken since 2.6.18 and the generic IRQ changes. In addition it removes some unecessary extern declarations in the gtwx5715-pci.c file. Signed-off-by: Michael-Luke Jones <mlj28@cam.ac.uk> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [ARM] 4426/2: Netgear WG302 v2 and WAG302 v2 supportImre Kaloz2007-07-124-0/+183
| | | | | | | | | | | | This patch provides support for the Netgear WG302 v2 and WAG302 v2 AccessPoint series. This patch relies on the patch "Gateway 7001 series support" minimally, as they only have UART2 connected. Updated to stay below the 80 char limit in uncompress.h Signed-off-by: Imre Kaloz <kaloz@openwrt.org> Signed-off-by: Deepak Saxena <dsaxena@mvista.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

* [ARM] 4410/1: Remove extern declarations in coyote/ixdpg425-pci.cMichael-Luke Jones2007-05-302-8/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | This patch removes apparently unnecessary extern declarations in coyote-pci.c and ixdpg425-pci.c within arch/arm/mach-ixp4xx and has been compile-tested without producing warnings or errors. Kernel coding style forbids the use of extern declarations within .c files. Signed-off-by: Michael-Luke Jones <mlj28@cam.ac.uk> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [ARM] 4406/1: Trivial NSLU2 / NAS-100D header & setup code cleanupMichael-Luke Jones2007-05-262-10/+12
| | | | | | | | | | This trivial patch updates the nslu2 and nas-100d headers to remove pointless GPIO defines, and updates nslu2-setup.c accordingly. In addition minor style cleanups to some comments are included. Signed-off-by: Michael-Luke Jones <mlj28@cam.ac.uk> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [ARM] 4405/1: NSLU2, DSM-G600 frequency fixup codeMichael-Luke Jones2007-05-263-13/+31
| | | | | | | | | | This patch is required as the frequency fixup in nslu2_init does not run sufficiently early in the boot sequence to take effect. In addition the dsmg600 setup code behaviour has been improved such that a 'fixup' routine is avoided. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch adds support for the D-Link DSM-G600 Rev A. This is an ARM XScale IXP4xx system relatively similar to the NSLU2 and NAS-100D already supported by mainline. An important difference is Gigabit Ethernet support using the Via Velocity chipset. This patch is the combined work of Michael Westerhof and Alessandro Zummo, with contributions from Michael-Luke Jones. This version addresses review comments from rmk and Deepak Saxena. | * [ARM] 4275/1: generic gpio layer for ixp4xxMilan Svoboda2007-04-211-0/+23
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch brings generic gpio layer support to ixp4xx. It creates functions needed for gpio->irq and irq->gpio translation. It expects and initial value to be passed to gpio_direction_output() which has been introduced by commit 28735a7253a6c24364765e80a5428b4a151fccc2 in Linus git tree. * [ARM] 3918/1: ixp4xx irq-chip reworkKevin Hilman2006-11-031-38/+22
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This is a rework of the ixp4xx irq_chip implementation. The use of two irq_chip structures and potentially switching between them is a violation of the intended use of the IRQ framework. The current implementation does not work with current in-kernel spinlock debugging or lockdep due to lock recursion problems caused by calling set_irq_chip/handler from within the chip's set_irq_type(). This patch goes back to using one irq_chip structure and handling the differences between edge/level, normal/GPIO interrupts inside the ack/mask/unmask routines themselves. | | | | | | | | | | | | Patch from Lennert Buytenhek A couple of platforms aren't using the right comparison type in their timer interrupt handlers (as we're comparing two wrapping timestamps, we need a bmi/bpl-type comparison, not an unsigned comparison) -- this patch fixes them up. * [ARM] 3487/1: IXP4xx: Support non-PCI systemsDeepak Saxena2006-04-302-2/+16
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Patch from Deepak Saxena This patch allows for the addition of IXP4xx systems that do not make use of the PCI interface by moving the CONFIG_PCI symbol selection to be platform-specific instead of for all of IXP4xx. If at least one machine with PCI support is built, the PCI code will be compiled in, but when building !PCI, this will drastically shrink the kernel size. * [ARM] 3480/1: ixp4xx: fix irq2gpio array typeLennert Buytenhek2006-04-201-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Patch from Lennert Buytenhek The irq2gpio array was recently converted from an array of ints to an array of chars (by patch 3368/1.) However, this array contains elements that are -1, and on ARM, the char type is unsigned by default, so this patch broke the GPIO check in ixp4xx_set_irq_type. Change the 'char' to be a 'signed char' to fix this. * [ARM] Convert kmalloc+memset to kzallocRussell King2006-03-211-2/+1
| | | | | | Convert all uses of kmalloc followed by memset to use kzalloc instead. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [ARM] 3368/1: ixp4xx: set gpio direction in ixp4xx_config_irqAlessandro Zummo2006-03-211-1/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Patch from Alessandro Zummo ixp4xx_config_irq did not configure the gpio line as an input. As an added bonus, the irq2gpio array has been converted from int to char. * [ARM] 3355/1: NSLU2: remove propmt dependsAlessandro Zummo2006-03-081-3/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | Patch from Alessandro Zummo The patch that would have made the NSLU2 kernel non compatible with other ixp4xx machs never entered the kernel. So it is actually safe to remove the prompt dependencies. Signed-off-by: Alessandro Zummo <a.zummo@towertech.it> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [ARM] 3354/1: NAS100d: fix power led handlingAlessandro Zummo2006-03-081-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | | Patch from Alessandro Zummo Disable GPIO clocks to allow the power led to work properly. Signed-off-by: Alessandro Zummo <a.zummo@towertech.it> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [ARM] 3353/1: NAS100d: protect nas100d_power_exit() with machine_is_nas100d()Alessandro Zummo2006-03-071-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | Patch from Alessandro Zummo nas100d_power_exit(void) gets some protection to avoid freeing an irq when it is not appropriate to do so.
