* [ARM] 5371/1: ep93xx: add i2c device to edb9307aHartley Sweeten2009-02-101-0/+12
| | | | | | | | | | | Add the on-board rtc i2c device to the edb9307a platform init. The EP93xx based EDB9307A dev board has an on-board ISL1208 RTC connected to the I2C bus. Now that the core code supports the I2C bus, this patch will add support for the device. * [ARM] 5343/1: ep93xx: include linux/i2c.hHartley Sweeten2008-12-1311-0/+11
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Include <linux/i2c.h> in all ep93xx platforms. Patch "5311/1: add core support for built in i2c bus" will cause build errors due to the following in arch/arm/mach-ep93xx/include/mach/platform.h: +void ep93xx_register_i2c(struct i2c_board_info *devices, int num); The i2c.h header needs to be included in order to define struct i2c_board_info. * [ARM] 5342/1: ep93xx: platform init cleanupHartley Sweeten2008-12-1310-83/+83
| | | | | | | | | | | | Use EP93XX_*_PHYS_BASE and SZ_* defines in ep93xx platform inits. The following patch changes the flash memory hard-coded resource addresses and MACHINE_START boot_params to EP93XX_*_PHYS_BASE and SZ_* defines to improve readability. Also some minor whitespace cleanup resulting from previous patches. Signed-off-by: H Hartley Sweeten <hsweeten@visionengravers.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [ARM] 5324/2: ep93xx: support gpio interrupt debounceHartley Sweeten2008-12-012-0/+20
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add debounce support for ep93xx gpio interrupts. On the EP93xx, GPIO ports A, B, and F can be used to generate interrupts. For each port, if interrupts are enabled, it is possible to debouce the input signal. Debouncing is implemented by passing the input signal through a 2-bit shift register clocked by a 128Hz clock. This patch adds a platform specific way to enable the debouce feature for these input ports. * [ARM] 5311/1: ep93xx: add core support for built in i2c busHartley Sweeten2008-12-012-0/+23
| | | | | | | | | | | | Allow the ep93xx platform init code to register the built-in i2c bus. The EP93xx processor has two GPIO pins dedicated for an I2C bus. This patch registers the platform supplied i2c_board_info and the necessary platform_device information for the i2c-gpio driver to use these pins. * | [ARM] Add a common typesafe __io implementationRussell King2008-11-301-2/+2

* | [ARM] Hide ISA DMA API when ISA_DMA_API is unsetRussell King2008-11-291-3/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When ISA_DMA_API is unset, we're not implementing the ISA DMA API, so there's no point in publishing the prototypes via asm/dma.h, nor including the machine dependent parts of that API. This allows us to remove a lot of mach/dma.h files which don't contain any useful code. Unfortunately though, some platforms put their own private non-ISA definitions into mach/dma.h, so we leave these behind and fix the appropriate #include statments. * | [ARM] remove a common set of __virt_to_bus definitionsNicolas Pitre2008-11-281-4/+0
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Let's provide an overridable default instead of having every machine class define __virt_to_bus and __bus_to_virt to the same thing. What most platforms are using is bus_addr == phys_addr so such is the default. One exception is ebsa110 which has no DMA what so ever, so the actual definition is not important except only for proper compilation. Also added a comment about the special footbridge bus translation. Let's also remove comments alluding to set_dma_addr which is not (and should not) be commonly used. | | * [ARM] 5293/1: ep93xx: add defines for external chipselectsHartley Sweeten2008-10-071-0/+34
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch adds defines for the external chipselect physical base addresses available with the EP93xx. These are meant to be used in the platform init code. In addition, documentation about the synchronous/asynchronous boot modes for the EP93xx and a reference to errata about issues with synchronous booting has been added. | | * [ARM] 5273/2: ep93xx: move ethernet support into core.cHartley Sweeten2008-10-0412-185/+68
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | All EP93xx based systems can support Ethernet. This patch moves the platform_device setup from the various board support files into the core support file. The Ethernet driver data still remains in the individual platform setup files to allow specific platform configuration. This also adds Ethernet support to the edb9302, edb9312, and edb9315 platforms. | | * [ARM] 5276/1: ep93xx: allow selecting UART for early kernel messagesHartley Sweeten2008-10-032-6/+29
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Currently on the EP93xx platform early kernel messages go to UART1. Since this UART is the only one that has modem control signals it might be used for another purpose and it is undesirable for those messages to appear. This patch allows one of the other UARTs to be selected in the kernel configuration. It is assumed that the bootloader has configured and initialized the UART since this was the previous assumption. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Having a both-edge sensitive irq trigger type is required for the generic gpio-keys input driver; alas the ep93xx does not support both-edge gpio triggers in hardware, so this patch implements them by switching edge polarity on each triggered interrupt.
