* Initial blind fixup for arm for irq changesLinus Torvalds2006-10-061-4/+4
| | | | | | | Untested, but this should fix up the bulk of the totally mechanical issues, and should make the actual detail fixing easier. Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>
* [PATCH] completions: lockdep annotate on stack completionsPeter Zijlstra2006-10-011-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | All on stack DECLARE_COMPLETIONs should be replaced by: DECLARE_COMPLETION_ONSTACK Signed-off-by: Peter Zijlstra <a.p.zijlstra@chello.nl> Acked-by: Ingo Molnar <mingo@elte.hu> Acked-by: Benjamin Herrenschmidt <benh@kernel.crashing.org> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@osdl.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>
* [ARM] 3739/1: genirq updates: irq_chip, add and use irq_chip.nameDavid Brownell2006-08-011-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Patch from David Brownell ARM genirq cleanups/updates: - Start switching platforms to newer APIs * use "irq_chip" name, not "irqchip" * providing irq_chip.name - Show irq_chip.name in /proc/interrupts, like on x86. This update a bit more than half of the ARM code. The irq_chip.name values were chosen to match docs (if I have them) or be otherwise obvious ("FPGA", "CPLD", or matching the code). Signed-off-by: David Brownell <dbrownell@users.sourceforge.net> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [ARM] Fix ecard.c resource warnings.Russell King2006-07-031-1/+1
| | | | | | | Platforms which use ecard.c always have 32-bit resources, so might as well lose the "long" format strings. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [ARM] 3694/1: ARM: Convert ecard driver to generic irq handlingThomas Gleixner2006-07-011-1/+1

* [ARM] Convert kmalloc+memset to kzallocRussell King2006-03-211-3/+1
| | | | | | Convert all uses of kmalloc followed by memset to use kzalloc instead. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

* [ARM] Convert some arm semaphores to mutexesArjan van de Ven2006-01-121-3/+4
| | | | | | | | The arm clock semaphores are strict mutexes, convert them to the new mutex implementation Signed-off-by: Arjan van de Ven <arjan@infradead.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [ARM] Wrap calls to descriptor handlersRussell King2005-09-041-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | This is part of Thomas Gleixner's generic IRQ patch, which converts ARM to use the generic IRQ subsystem. Here, we wrap calls to desc->handler() in an inline function, desc_handle_irq(). This reduces the size of Thomas' patch since the changes become more localised. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
