The Lubbock platform uses both a PXA25x and a SA1111 at the same time.
Both chips have the same "Serial Audio Controller" registers although
the SA1111 one is never expected to be used in preference to the PXA25x
one. So let's disable the SA1111 defines whenever compilation is for a
PXA architecture and make the PXA defines always defined.
This removes a bunch of "already defined" warnings as well since the
current hack to prevent them depended on include ordering which wasn't
always right.
While at it, clean up the SA1111 defines allowing to get rid of the
__CCREG() macro.

Add kexec support to ARM.
Improvements like commandline handling could be made but this patch gives
basic functional support. It uses the next available syscall number, 347.
Once the syscall number is known, userspace support will be
finalised/submitted to kexec-tools, various patches already exist.
Originally based on a patch by Maxim Syrchin but updated and forward
ported by various people.

Commit 1c9d3df5e88ad7db23f5b22f4341c39722a904a4 added function prototype
__flush_dcache_page() in include/asm-arm/cacheflush.h. So we can remove
the prototype for same in arch/arm/mm/fault-armv.c since it is now
redundant to have it there.

dmabounce keeps a per-device structure, and finds the correct
structure by walking a list. Since architectures can now add
fields to struct device, we can attach this structure direct to
the struct device, thereby eliminating the code to search the
list.

If RTS interrupt is caused by RTS senzing logic inside i.MX UART module the
IRQ type cannot be set.
It applies only for interrupts going through GPIO layer. The problem has
been noticed by Konstantin Kletschke some time ago.
No IRQF_TRIGGER set_type function for IRQ 26 (MPU)
I would not change type to fixed 0, because it could be possible to use
different GPIO MX1 pin for RTS in the theory. On the other hand it is only
for documentation purposes now, because RTS read code would have to be
adjusted in such case.

bad_mode() currently prints the mode which caused the exception, and
then causes an oops dump to be printed which again displays this
information (since the CPSR in the struct pt_regs is correct.) This
leads to processor_modes[] being shared between traps.c and process.c
with a local declaration of it.
We can clean this up by moving processor_modes[] to process.c and
removing the duplication, resulting in processor_modes[] becoming
static.

This patch adds support for the Gateworks Avila Network Platform in
a separate set of setup files to the IXDP425. This is necessary now
that a driver for the Avila CF card slot is available. It also adds
support for a minor variant on the Avila board known as the Loft,
which has a different number of maximum PCI devices.

csum_fold doesn't need two assembly instructions to perform its task,
it can simply add the high and low parts together by rotating by 16
bits, and the carry into the upper-16 bits will automatically happen.
Also, since csum_tcpudp_magic() is just csum_tcpudp_nofold + csum_fold,
use those two functions to achieve this. Also note that there is a
csum_fold() at the end of ip_fast_csum() as well, so use the real
csum_fold() there as well.

sd_probe() calls class_device_add() even before initializing the
sdkp->device variable. class_device_add() eventually results in the user mode
udev program to be called. udev program can read the the allow_restart
attribute of the newly created scsi device. This is resulting in a crash as
the show function for allow_restart (i.e sd_show_allow_restart) returns the
attribute value by reading the sdkp->device->allow_restart variable. As the
sdkp->device is not initialized before calling the user mode hotplug helper,
this results in a crash.
The patch below solves it by calling class_device_add() only after the
necessary fields in the scsi_disk structure are initialized properly.

The analysis is basically correct and explains the bug. According to the
SCSI standards, the sense code is NO SENSE or RECOVERED ERROR in case
writing filemark(s) succeeds. If it fails (partly or completely) the sense
code is VOLUME OVERFLOW. The patch below is tested to fix the case when
one filemark is successfully written after the EOM early warning. It
should also fix the case at real EOM but this has not been tested.

The included patch fixes the following issues:
1. qla3xxx/qla4xxx co-existence issue which can result in a lockup
when qla3xxx driver is unloaded, or when ifdown; ifup is performed on
one of the interfaces correponding to qla3xxx. This is because qla4xxx
HBA supports one ethernet and iscsi interfaces per port. Both iscsi
and ethernet interfaces share the same state machine. The problem has
to do with synchronizing access to the state machine in the event of a
reset
2. mutex_lock() is sometimes not followed by mutex_unlock() prior to
invoking a msleep() in qla4xxx_mailbox_command()

I had thought that all drivers which didn't call scsi_scan_host()
called scsi_scan_target(). Some, such as sbp2, mptsas and libata-scsi,
call scsi_add_device() or __scsi_add_device(). We just need to wait
for the currently executing async scans to complete first. This is the
same code that's in scsi_scan_target(), except that we have to return
an error instead of void when we're declining to scan at all.

The SN Altix platform does not conform to the IOSAPIC IRQ routing model.
Add code in acpi_unregister_gsi() to check if (acpi_irq_model ==
ACPI_IRQ_MODEL_PLATFORM) and return.
Due to an oversight, this code was not added previously when
similar code was added to acpi_register_gsi().

This patch fixes up ia64 kexec support for HP rx2620 hardware. It does
this by skipping migration of already disabled irqs. This is most likely a
problem on other ia64 platforms as well, but I've only been able to
reproduce it on one machine so far.
The full story is that handle_bad_irq() gets invoked before starting the
new kernel without this patch. This seems to happen when fixup_irqs()
calls generic_handle_irq() on already migrated (and disabled) irqs. So by
avoiding migration of disabled irqs we stay away of handle_bad_irq().
The code has been tested on three different ia64 machines, all with good
results. It is possible to trigger the same bug by offlining a processor
using echo 0 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpuX/online.

flush_workqueue() is not allowed to be called in the softirq context.
However, aio_complete() called from I/O interrupt can potentially call
put_ioctx with last ref count on ioctx and triggers bug. It is simply
incorrect to perform ioctx freeing from aio_complete.
The bug is trigger-able from a race between io_destroy() and aio_complete().
A possible scenario:
cpu0 cpu1
io_destroy aio_complete
wait_for_all_aios { __aio_put_req
... ctx->reqs_active--;
if (!ctx->reqs_active)
return;
}
...
put_ioctx(ioctx)

The real problem is that the condition check of ctx->reqs_active in
wait_for_all_aios() is incorrect that access to reqs_active is not
being properly protected by spin lock.
This patch adds that protective spin lock, and at the same time removes
all duplicate ref counting for each kiocb as reqs_active is already used
as a ref count for each active ioctx. This also ensures that buggy call
to flush_workqueue() in softirq context is eliminated.

Some LLDDs, like ipr, use nbytes and pad_len to determine
the total data transfer length of a command. Make sure
nbytes gets initialized for internally generated commands.

It waits in 10uS chunks while 1uS chunks were used in the workaround.
Could indeed do that once I know the fix is right. While I'm at it the
ata_busy_wait kerneldoc is borked so here's a fix

For all JMicrons except for 361 and 368, AHCI mode enable bits in the
Control(1) should be set. This used to be done in both ahci and
pata_jmicron but while moving programming to PCI quirk, it was removed
from ahci part while still left in pata_jmicron.
The implemented JMicron PCI quirk was incorrect in that it didn't
program AHCI mode enable bits. If pata_jmicron is loaded first and
programs those bits, the ahci ports work; otherwise, ahci device
detection fails miserably.
This patch makes JMicron PCI quirk clear SATA IDE mode bits and set
AHCI mode bits and remove the respective part from pata_jmicron.
Tested on JMB361, 363 and 368.

We forget to call spider_net_free_rx_chain_contents which does the
actual dev_kfree_skb. New skbs are allocated from skbuff_head_cache
on each "ifconfig up" letting the cache grow infinitely.
This patch fixes it.

e100: fix napi ifdefs removing needed code
From: Auke Kok <auke-jan.h.kok@intel.com>
The e100 driver is NAPI mode only. We need to netif_poll_disable
during suspend and shutdown. The non-NAPI driver code was removed
and is only avaiable in the out-of-tree e100 kernel driver.
