* | lib/powerpc: addrmap_phys_to_virt() should return a pointer | Timur Tabi | 2012-07-06 | 1 | -1/+1 |
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | addrmap_phys_to_virt() converts a physical address (phys_addr_t) to a virtual address, so it should return a pointer instead of an unsigned long. Its counterpart, addrmap_virt_to_phys(), takes a pointer, so now they're orthogonal. The only caller of addrmap_phys_to_virt() converts the return value to a pointer anyway. * | Introduce addr_map library | Kumar Gala | 2008-12-15 | 1 | -0/+29 |
Add a library that helps in translating between virtual and physical addresses. This library can be useful as a simple means to implement map_physmem() and virt_to_phys() for platforms that need functionality beyond the simple 1:1 mapping. Signed-off-by: Kumar Gala <galak@kernel.crashing.org> |
