* OMAP3: beagle-xm: generate fake USB ethernet MAC address from dieidNishanth Menon2014-04-171-0/+1
| | | | | | | | Similar to OMAP5uEVM, PandaBoard, BeagleBoard-XM has a USB based ethernet without MAC address embedded. So fake a MAC address following the similar strategy used on OMAP5 and PandaBoard family. Signed-off-by: Nishanth Menon <nm@ti.com>
* omap3/sys_info: provide interface to read die idNishanth Menon2014-04-171-0/+1
| | | | | | | introduce get_die_id() function which allows generation of information such as fake MAC address from the processor ID code. Signed-off-by: Nishanth Menon <nm@ti.com>
* ARM: OMAP: hide custom bit manipulation function sr32()Wolfgang Denk2014-04-171-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | The only remaining user of the custom bit manipulation function sr32() is arch/arm/cpu/armv7/omap3/clock.c, so make it a static function in that file to prepare complete removal. * mtd: nand: omap: move omap_gpmc.h from arch/arm/include/asm to drivers/mtd/nandpekon gupta2014-03-041-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | omap_gpmc.h is a generic header used by OMAP NAND driver for all TI platfoms. Hence this file should be present in generic folder instead of architecture specific include folder. Build tested using: ./MAKEALL -s am33xx -s omap3 -s omap4 -s omap5 Signed-off-by: Pekon Gupta <pekon@ti.com>
* mtd: nand: omap: merge duplicate GPMC data from different arch-xx headers ↵pekon gupta2014-03-041-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | into common omap_gpmc.h Each SoC platform (AM33xx, OMAP3, OMAP4, OMAP5) has its own copy of GPMC related defines and declarations scattered in SoC platform specific header files like include/asm/arch-xx/cpu.h However, GPMC hardware remains same across all platforms thus this patch merges GPMC data scattered across different arch-xx specific header files into single header file include/asm/arch/omap_gpmc.h Build tested using: ./MAKEALL -s am33xx -s omap3 -s omap4 -s omap5 Signed-off-by: Pekon Gupta <pekon@ti.com>

* omap_gpmc: change nandecc commandAndreas Bießmann2013-04-081-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | With uppcoming BCH support on OMAP devices we need to decide between differnt algorithms when switching the ECC engine. Currently we support 1-bit hammign and 8-bit BCH on HW backend. In order to switch between differnet ECC algorithms we need to change the interface of omap_nand_switch_ecc() also. * Pass sdrc timing values through board_sdrc_timings structurePeter Barada2012-12-101-2/+11
| | | | | | | | | Instead of passing individual registers by value to board_get_mem_timings, pass a board_mem_timings structure pointer for the board files to fill in. Pass same structure pointer to write_sdrc_timings. This saves about 90 bytes of space in SPL. Signed-off-by: Peter Barada <peter.barada@logicpd.com>
* ARM: OMAP3+: Detect reset typeLokesh Vutla2012-07-071-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | Certain modules are not affected by means of a warm reset and need not be configured again. Adding an API to detect the reset reason warm/cold. This will be used to skip the module configurations that are retained across a warm reset. Signed-off-by: Lokesh Vutla <lokeshvutla@ti.com> Signed-off-by: R Sricharan <r.sricharan@ti.com>
* OMAP3+: Clock: Adding ehci clock enablingGovindraj.R2012-02-121-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | Adding ehci clock enabling mechanism part of clock framework. When essential clocks are enabled during init phase usb host clocks can also be enabled from clock framework. * OMAP3 SPL: Add identify_nand_chip functionTom Rini2011-12-061-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | A number of boards are populated with a PoP chip for both DDR and NAND memory. Other boards may simply use this as an easy way to identify board revs. So we provide a function that can be called early to reset the NAND chip and return the result of NAND_CMD_READID. All of this code is put into spl_id_nand.c and controlled via CONFIG_SPL_OMAP3_ID_NAND. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@ti.com>
* OMAP3 SPL: Rework memory initalization and devkit8000 supportTom Rini2011-12-061-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | This changes to making the board be responsible for providing the memory initialization timings in SPL and converts the devkit8000 to this framework. In SPL we try and initialize both CS0 and CS1. Cc: Frederik Kriewitz <frederik@kriewitz.eu> Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@ti.com>
* OMAP3: Remove get_mem_type prototypeTom Rini2011-12-061-1/+0
| | | | | | This function doesn't exist for omap3 Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@ti.com>
* OMAP3 SPL: Provide weak omap_rev_stringTom Rini2011-10-271-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | We add an weak version of omap_rev_string in omap-common/spl.c and while at it drop the omap3 version. Move the prototype over to <asm/omap_common.h> with the other SPL functions. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Sandeep Paulraj <s-paulraj@ti.com>

| | | | | | | | | | | Consolidated SDRC related functions into one file - sdrc.c And also replaced sdrc_init with generic memory init function (mem_init), this generalization of omap memory setup is necessary to support the new emif4 interface introduced in AM3517. * Move architecture-specific includes to arch/$ARCH/include/asmPeter Tyser2010-04-131-0/+69
This helps to clean up the include/ directory so that it only contains non-architecture-specific headers and also matches Linux's directory layout which many U-Boot developers are already familiar with. Signed-off-by: Peter Tyser <ptyser@xes-inc.com>
