* drivers/s390/net: removes unnecessary semicolonPeter Senna Tschudin2012-09-241-1/+1

* s390/comments: unify copyright messages and remove file namesHeiko Carstens2012-07-201-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Remove the file name from the comment at top of many files. In most cases the file name was wrong anyway, so it's rather pointless. Also unify the IBM copyright statement. We did have a lot of sightly different statements and wanted to change them one after another whenever a file gets touched. However that never happened. Instead people start to take the old/"wrong" statements to use as a template for new files. So unify all of them in one go. Signed-off-by: Heiko Carstens <heiko.carstens@de.ibm.com>
* ctcm: use correct idal word list for ctcmpcBelinda Thompson2012-03-071-0/+11
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Communication Server Linux uses the ctcmpc code of the ctcm driver. Sending problems have shown up caused by a wrong idal word list for the first ccw. Function ctcmpc_chx_txdone() invokes the function to prepare the idal word list without setting an appropriate length for the first ccw, which may lead to an incomplete idal word list. This patch sets the maximum buffer size as data length of the first ccw. Thus correct idal word lists are guaranteed in all cases. * ctcm: rename READ/WRITE defines to avoid redefinitionsUrsula Braun2010-08-121-29/+31
| | | | | | | | READ/WRITE seems to be a bit too generic for defines in a device driver. Just rename them to CTCM_READ/CTCM_WRITE to avoid warnings. Signed-off-by: Ursula Braun <ursula.braun@de.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* s390: remove cu3088 layer for lcs and ctcmUrsula Braun2009-11-131-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | The cu3088-driver used as common base for lcs- and ctcm-devices makes it difficult to assign the appropriate driver to an lcs-device or a ctcm-device. This patch eliminates the cu3088-driver and thus the root device "cu3088". Path /sys/devices/cu3088 is replaced with the pathes /sys/devices/lcs and /sys/devices/ctcm. Patch is based on a proposal from Cornelia Huck. Cc: Cornelia Huck <cornelia.huck@de.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Ursula Braun <ursula.braun@de.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: David S. * ctcm: avoid wraparound in length of incoming dataRoel Kluin2009-03-241-3/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | Since the receive code should tolerate any incoming garbage, it should be protected against a potential wraparound when manipulating length values within incoming data. block_len is unsigned, so a too large subtraction will cause a wraparound. * ctcm: infrastructure for replaced ctc driverPeter Tiedemann2008-03-171-0/+2347
ctcm driver supports the channel-to-channel connections of the old ctc driver plus an additional MPC protocol to provide SNA connectivity. This new ctcm driver replaces the existing ctc driver.
