Add the brcm80211 tree to drivers/net/wireless, and disable the version that's
in drivers/staging. This version includes the sources currently in staging,
plus any changes that have been sent out for review.
Sources in staging will be deleted in a followup patch.

Intel WiFi devices 3945 and 4965 now have their own driver in the folder
drivers/net/wireless/iwlegacy
Add support to build these drivers independently of the driver for
AGN devices. Selecting the 3945 builds iwl3945.ko and iwl_legacy.ko,
and selecting the 4965 builds iwl4965.ko and iwl_legacy.ko. iwl-legacy.ko
contains code shared between both devices.
The 3945 is an ABG/BG device, with no support for 802.11n. The 4965 is a 2x3
ABGN device.

wl1271 driver is under heavy development but on the other hand the older
wl1251 driver is currently considered more as a legacy driver. To make it
easier to develop wl1271 features move wl1251 to it's own directory,
drivers/net/wireless/wl1251.
There are no functional changes, only moving of files. One regression
is that Kconfig won't be updated automatically and user needs to enable
wl1251 manually with an older config file.

Add a simple mechanism to pass platform data to the
SDIO instances of wl12xx.
This way there is no confusion over who owns the 'embedded data',
typechecking is preserved, and no possibility for the wrong driver to
pick up the data.

wl12xx is a driver for TI wl1251 802.11 chipset designed for embedded

supports only SPI. Adding support 1253 (the 5 GHz version) should be
relatively easy. More information here:

The latest trace about usage of this driver I found was an (unanswered)
request for help by a user trying to get it working reliably five years
ago with kernel 2.4 .
And even if it was still working the use cases of this driver (requiring
both the hardware and someone providing this kind of wireless network)
have become practically nonexisting.
This patch therefore removes the strip driver.

mac80211_hwsim is a Linux kernel module that can be used to simulate
arbitrary number of IEEE 802.11 radios for mac80211 on a single
device. It can be used to test most of the mac80211 functionality and
user space tools (e.g., hostapd and wpa_supplicant) in a way that
matches very closely with the normal case of using real WLAN
hardware. From the mac80211 view point, mac80211_hwsim is yet another
hardware driver, i.e., no changes to mac80211 are needed to use this
testing tool.

This patch adds a mac80211 based wireless driver for the rtl8180 and
rtl8185 PCI wireless cards. Also included are some rtl8187 changes
required due to the relationship between that driver and this one.
Michael Wu is primarily responsible for the initial driver and rtl8185
support. Andreas Merello provided the additional rtl8180 support.
Thanks to Jukka Ruohonen for the donating a rtl8185 card! It was very
helpful for the rtl8225z2 code.
