* net: use skb_is_gso_sctp() instead of open-codingDaniel Axtens2018-03-091-1/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | As well as the basic conversion, I noticed that a lot of the SCTP code checks gso_type without first checking skb_is_gso() so I have added that where appropriate. Also, document the helper. Cc: Daniel Borkmann <daniel@iogearbox.net> Cc: Marcelo Ricardo Leitner <marcelo.leitner@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Daniel Axtens <dja@axtens.net> Signed-off-by: David S. * docs: segmentation-offloads.txt: Correct TCP gso_typesDaniel Axtens2018-03-081-2/+2
| | | | | | | | Pretty minor: just SKB_GSO_TCP -> SKB_GSO_TCPV4 and SKB_GSO_TCP6 -> SKB_GSO_TCPV6. Signed-off-by: Daniel Axtens <dja@axtens.net> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* bpf: fix bpf_skb_adjust_net/bpf_skb_proto_xlat to deal with gso sctp skbsDaniel Axtens2018-03-031-2/+9
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | SCTP GSO skbs have a gso_size of GSO_BY_FRAGS, so any sort of unconditionally mangling of that will result in nonsense value and would corrupt the skb later on. Therefore, i) add two helpers skb_increase_gso_size() and skb_decrease_gso_size() that would throw a one time warning and bail out for such skbs and ii) refuse and return early with an error in those BPF helpers that are affected. We do need to bail out as early as possible from there before any changes on the skb have been performed. * docs: segmentation-offloads.txt: update for UFO depreciationDaniel Axtens2018-02-141-0/+4
| | | | | | | | | UFO is deprecated except for tuntap and packet per 0c19f846d582, ("net: accept UFO datagrams from tuntap and packet"). Update UFO docs to reflect this. Signed-off-by: Daniel Axtens <dja@axtens.net> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>

* Documentation: Add documentation for TSO and GSO featuresAlexander Duyck2016-04-141-0/+130
This document is a starting point for defining the TSO and GSO features. The whole thing is starting to get a bit messy so I wanted to make sure we have notes somwhere to start describing what does and doesn't work.
