From 58e2d3d856b7dc7b97a18cfa2aeeb927bc7e6bd5 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Bill Wendling Date: Mon, 9 Sep 2013 02:37:14 +0000 Subject: Generate compact unwind encoding from CFI directives. We used to generate the compact unwind encoding from the machine instructions. However, this had the problem that if the user used `-save-temps' or compiled their hand-written `.s' file (with CFI directives), we wouldn't generate the compact unwind encoding. Move the algorithm that generates the compact unwind encoding into the MCAsmBackend. This way we can generate the encoding whether the code is from a `.ll' or `.s' file. llvm-svn: 190290 --- llvm/lib/Target/PowerPC/MCTargetDesc/PPCAsmBackend.cpp | 7 +++---- 1 file changed, 3 insertions(+), 4 deletions(-) (limited to 'llvm/lib/Target/PowerPC/MCTargetDesc/PPCAsmBackend.cpp') diff --git a/llvm/lib/Target/PowerPC/MCTargetDesc/PPCAsmBackend.cpp b/llvm/lib/Target/PowerPC/MCTargetDesc/PPCAsmBackend.cpp index ffeac43c13d..91f11606751 100644 --- a/llvm/lib/Target/PowerPC/MCTargetDesc/PPCAsmBackend.cpp +++ b/llvm/lib/Target/PowerPC/MCTargetDesc/PPCAsmBackend.cpp @@ -192,10 +192,9 @@ namespace { } // end anonymous namespace - - - -MCAsmBackend *llvm::createPPCAsmBackend(const Target &T, StringRef TT, StringRef CPU) { +MCAsmBackend *llvm::createPPCAsmBackend(const Target &T, + const MCRegisterInfo &MRI, + StringRef TT, StringRef CPU) { if (Triple(TT).isOSDarwin()) return new DarwinPPCAsmBackend(T); -- cgit v1.2.3
