From 74bb06c0f02e650ea9ec73729f41a620fc55a8ee Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Jakob Stoklund Olesen Date: Sat, 6 Feb 2010 01:16:28 +0000 Subject: Reintroduce the InlineHint function attribute. This time it's for real! I am going to hook this up in the frontends as well. The inliner has some experimental heuristics for dealing with the inline hint. When given a -respect-inlinehint option, functions marked with the inline keyword are given a threshold just above the default for -O3. We need some experiments to determine if that is the right thing to do. llvm-svn: 95466 --- llvm/lib/Target/CppBackend/CPPBackend.cpp | 1 + 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+) (limited to 'llvm/lib/Target/CppBackend/CPPBackend.cpp') diff --git a/llvm/lib/Target/CppBackend/CPPBackend.cpp b/llvm/lib/Target/CppBackend/CPPBackend.cpp index 4f3f0047b36..3dd8ca7c71e 100644 --- a/llvm/lib/Target/CppBackend/CPPBackend.cpp +++ b/llvm/lib/Target/CppBackend/CPPBackend.cpp @@ -470,6 +470,7 @@ namespace { HANDLE_ATTR(Nest); HANDLE_ATTR(ReadNone); HANDLE_ATTR(ReadOnly); + HANDLE_ATTR(InlineHint); HANDLE_ATTR(NoInline); HANDLE_ATTR(AlwaysInline); HANDLE_ATTR(OptimizeForSize); -- cgit v1.2.3
