* [webassembly] Apply llvm-prefer-register-over-unsigned from clang-tidy to LLVMDaniel Sanders2019-08-121-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Summary: This clang-tidy check is looking for unsigned integer variables whose initializer starts with an implicit cast from llvm::Register and changes the type of the variable to llvm::Register (dropping the llvm:: where possible). * Update the file headers across all of the LLVM projects in the monorepoChandler Carruth2019-01-191-4/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | to reflect the new license. We understand that people may be surprised that we're moving the header entirely to discuss the new license. We checked this carefully with the Foundation's lawyer and we believe this is the correct approach. Essentially, all code in the project is now made available by the LLVM project under our new license, so you will see that the license headers include that license only. Some of our contributors have contributed code under our old license, and accordingly, we have retained a copy of our old license notice in the top-level files in each project and repository. llvm-svn: 351636
* [WebAssembly] clang-format (NFC)Heejin Ahn2018-09-051-25/+98
| | | | | | | | | | | | Summary: This patch runs clang-format on all wasm-only files. Reviewers: aardappel, dschuff, sunfish, tlively Subscribers: MatzeB, sbc100, jgravelle-google, llvm-commits Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D51447 llvm-svn: 341439
* Rename DEBUG macro to LLVM_DEBUG.Nicola Zaghen2018-05-141-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The DEBUG() macro is very generic so it might clash with other projects. The renaming was done as follows: - git grep -l 'DEBUG' | xargs sed -i 's/\bDEBUG\s\?(/LLVM_DEBUG(/g' - git diff -U0 master | ../clang/tools/clang-format/clang-format-diff.py -i -p1 -style LLVM - Manual change to APInt - Manually chage DOCS as regex doesn't match it. In the transition period the DEBUG() macro is still present and aliased to the LLVM_DEBUG() one. Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D43624 llvm-svn: 332240
* Remove \brief commands from doxygen comments.Adrian Prantl2018-05-011-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We've been running doxygen with the autobrief option for a couple of years now. This makes the \brief markers into our comments redundant. Since they are a visual distraction and we don't want to encourage more \brief markers in new code either, this patch removes them all. Patch produced by for i in $(git grep -l '\\brief'); do perl -pi -e 's/\\brief //g' $i & done Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D46290 llvm-svn: 331272
* [WebAssembly] Register wasm passes with the PassRegistryJacob Gravelle2018-03-301-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Summary: This exposes WebAssembly passes for use on the command line (as arguments to -print-before and the like). Reviewers: dschuff, sunfish Subscribers: MatzeB, jfb, sbc100, llvm-commits, aheejin Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D45103 llvm-svn: 328901
* [WebAssembly] Fix fptoui lowering boundsDan Gohman2017-11-291-0/+7
| | | | | | | To fully avoid trapping on wasm, fptoui needs a second check to ensure that the operand isn't below the supported range. llvm-svn: 319354
* Sort the remaining #include lines in include/... and lib/....Chandler Carruth2017-06-061-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | I did this a long time ago with a janky python script, but now clang-format has built-in support for this. I fed clang-format every line with a #include and let it re-sort things according to the precise LLVM rules for include ordering baked into clang-format these days. I've reverted a number of files where the results of sorting includes isn't healthy. Either places where we have legacy code relying on particular include ordering (where possible, I'll fix these separately) or where we have particular formatting around #include lines that I didn't want to disturb in this patch. This patch is *entirely* mechanical. If you get merge conflicts or anything, just ignore the changes in this patch and run clang-format over your #include lines in the files. Sorry for any noise here, but it is important to keep these things stable. I was seeing an increasing number of patches with irrelevant re-ordering of #include lines because clang-format was used. This patch at least isolates that churn, makes it easy to skip when resolving conflicts, and gets us to a clean baseline (again). llvm-svn: 304787
* [CodeGen] Rename MachineInstrBuilder::addOperand. NFCDiana Picus2017-01-131-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | Rename from addOperand to just add, to match the other method that has been added to MachineInstrBuilder for adding more than just 1 operand. See https://reviews.llvm.org/D28057 for the whole discussion. Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D28556 llvm-svn: 291891
* [WebAssembly] Add an option to make get_local/set_local explicit.Dan Gohman2016-10-241-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | This patch adds a pass, controlled by an option and off by default for now, for making implicit get_local/set_local explicit. This simplifies emitting wasm with MC. Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D25836 llvm-svn: 285009
* [WebAssembly] Update to more stack-machine-oriented terminology.Dan Gohman2016-10-031-1/+1
| | | | | | | | WebAssembly has officially switched from being an AST to being a stack machine. Update various bits of terminology and README.md entries accordingly. llvm-svn: 283154

* [WebAssembly] Implement ReverseBranchCondition, and re-enable ↵Dan Gohman2015-12-051-0/+133
MachineBlockPlacement This patch introduces a codegen-only instruction currently named br_unless, which makes it convenient to implement ReverseBranchCondition and re-enable the MachineBlockPlacement pass. Then in a late pass, it lowers br_unless back into br_if. Differential Revision: http://reviews.llvm.org/D14995 llvm-svn: 254826
