* [WebAssembly] refactored utilities to not depend on MachineInstrWouter van Oortmerssen2019-07-121-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Summary: Most of these functions can work for MachineInstr and MCInst equally now. Reviewers: dschuff Subscribers: MatzeB, sbc100, jgravelle-google, aheejin, sunfish, llvm-commits Tags: #llvm Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D64643 llvm-svn: 365965
* Update the file headers across all of the LLVM projects in the monorepoChandler Carruth2019-01-191-4/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | to reflect the new license. We understand that people may be surprised that we're moving the header entirely to discuss the new license. We checked this carefully with the Foundation's lawyer and we believe this is the correct approach. Essentially, all code in the project is now made available by the LLVM project under our new license, so you will see that the license headers include that license only. Some of our contributors have contributed code under our old license, and accordingly, we have retained a copy of our old license notice in the top-level files in each project and repository. llvm-svn: 351636
* Rename DEBUG macro to LLVM_DEBUG.Nicola Zaghen2018-05-141-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The DEBUG() macro is very generic so it might clash with other projects. The renaming was done as follows: - git grep -l 'DEBUG' | xargs sed -i 's/\bDEBUG\s\?(/LLVM_DEBUG(/g' - git diff -U0 master | ../clang/tools/clang-format/clang-format-diff.py -i -p1 -style LLVM - Manual change to APInt - Manually chage DOCS as regex doesn't match it. In the transition period the DEBUG() macro is still present and aliased to the LLVM_DEBUG() one. Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D43624 llvm-svn: 332240
* Remove \brief commands from doxygen comments.Adrian Prantl2018-05-011-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We've been running doxygen with the autobrief option for a couple of years now. This makes the \brief markers into our comments redundant. Since they are a visual distraction and we don't want to encourage more \brief markers in new code either, this patch removes them all. Patch produced by for i in $(git grep -l '\\brief'); do perl -pi -e 's/\\brief //g' $i & done Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D46290 llvm-svn: 331272
* [WebAssembly] Register wasm passes with the PassRegistryJacob Gravelle2018-03-301-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Summary: This exposes WebAssembly passes for use on the command line (as arguments to -print-before and the like). Reviewers: dschuff, sunfish Subscribers: MatzeB, jfb, sbc100, llvm-commits, aheejin Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D45103 llvm-svn: 328901
* [WebAssembly] Add an option to make get_local/set_local explicit.Dan Gohman2016-10-241-19/+3
| | | | | | | | | | This patch adds a pass, controlled by an option and off by default for now, for making implicit get_local/set_local explicit. This simplifies emitting wasm with MC. Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D25836 llvm-svn: 285009

* [WebAssembly] Initial SIMD128 support.Derek Schuff2016-08-021-1/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Kicks off the implementation of wasm SIMD128 support (spec: https://github.com/stoklund/portable-simd/blob/master/portable-simd.md), adding support for add, sub, mul for i8x16, i16x8, i32x4, and f32x4. The spec is WIP, and might change in the near future. Patch by João Porto Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D22686 llvm-svn: 277543
* WebAssembly: Avoid implicit iterator conversions, NFCDuncan P. N. Exon Smith2016-07-081-8/+6
| | | | | | | | Avoid implicit conversions from MachineInstrBundleIterator to MachineInstr* in the WebAssembly backend by preferring MachineInstr& over MachineInstr*. llvm-svn: 274912
* [WebAssembly] Reintroduce ARGUMENT moving logicDan Gohman2015-12-091-0/+110
Reinteroduce the code for moving ARGUMENTS back to the top of the basic block. While the ARGUMENTS physical register prevents sinking and scheduling from moving them, it does not appear to be sufficient to prevent SelectionDAG from moving them down in the initial schedule. This patch introduces a patch that moves them back to the top immediately after SelectionDAG runs. This is still hopefully a temporary solution. http://reviews.llvm.org/D14750 is one alternative, though the review has not been favorable, and proposed alternatives are longer-term and have other downsides. This fixes the main outstanding -verify-machineinstrs failures, so it adds -verify-machineinstrs to several tests. Differential Revision: http://reviews.llvm.org/D15377 llvm-svn: 255125
