* [WinEH] Teach AsmPrinter about funcletsDavid Majnemer2015-09-291-0/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | Summary: Funclets have been turned into functions by the time they hit the object file. Make sure that they have decent names for the symbol table and CFI directives explaining how to reason about their prologues. Differential Revision: http://reviews.llvm.org/D13261 llvm-svn: 248824
* [WinEH] Fix ip2state table emission with funcletsReid Kleckner2015-09-281-1/+4
| | | | | | | Previously we were hijacking the old LandingPadInfo data structures to communicate our state numbers. Now we don't need that anymore. llvm-svn: 248763
* [WinEH] Rip out the landingpad-based C++ EH state numbering codeReid Kleckner2015-09-161-2/+1
| | | | | | It never really worked, and the new code is working better every day. llvm-svn: 247860
* [SEH] Emit 32-bit SEH tables for the new EH IRReid Kleckner2015-09-091-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | The 32-bit tables don't actually contain PC range data, so emitting them is incredibly simple. The 64-bit tables, on the other hand, use the same table for state numbering as well as label ranges. This makes things more difficult, so it will be implemented later. llvm-svn: 247192
* [WinEH] Calculate state numbers for the new EH representationDavid Majnemer2015-08-181-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | State numbers are calculated by performing a walk from the innermost funclet to the outermost funclet. Rudimentary support for the new EH constructs has been added to the assembly printer, just enough to test the new machinery. Differential Revision: http://reviews.llvm.org/D12098 llvm-svn: 245331

* [SEH] Add new intrinsics for recovering and restoring parent framesReid Kleckner2015-06-301-0/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The incoming EBP value established by the runtime is actually a pointer to the end of the EH registration object, and not the true parent function frame pointer. Clang doesn't need llvm.x86.seh.exceptioninfo anymore because we know that the exception info pointer is at a fixed offset from this incoming EBP. The llvm.x86.seh.recoverfp intrinsic takes an EBP value provided by the EH runtime and returns a pointer that is usable with llvm.framerecover. The llvm.x86.seh.restoreframe intrinsic is inserted by the 32-bit specific preparation pass in blocks targetted by the EH runtime. It re-establishes any physical registers used by the parent function to address the stack, such as the frame, base, and stack pointers. Neither of these intrinsics correctly handle stack realignment prologues yet, but it's possible to add that later. * Revert r240137 (Fixed/added namespace ending comments using clang-tidy. NFC)Alexander Kornienko2015-06-231-1/+1
| | | | | | Apparently, the style needs to be agreed upon first. llvm-svn: 240390
* Fixed/added namespace ending comments using clang-tidy. NFCAlexander Kornienko2015-06-191-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | The patch is generated using this command: tools/clang/tools/extra/clang-tidy/tool/run-clang-tidy.py -fix \ -checks=-*,llvm-namespace-comment -header-filter='llvm/.*|clang/.*' \ llvm/lib/ Thanks to Eugene Kosov for the original patch! llvm-svn: 240137
* [WinEH] Add 32-bit SEH state table emission prototypeReid Kleckner2015-06-091-0/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | This gets all the handler info through to the asm printer and we can look at the .xdata tables now. I've convinced one small catch-all test case to work, but other than that, it would be a stretch to say this is functional. The state numbering algorithm avoids doing any scope reconstruction as we do for C++ to simplify the implementation. llvm-svn: 239433
* [WinEH] Emit EH tables for __CxxFrameHandler3 on 32-bit x86Reid Kleckner2015-05-291-5/+13
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Small (really small!) C++ exception handling examples work on 32-bit x86 now. This change disables the use of .seh_* directives in WinException when CFI is not in use. It also uses absolute symbol references in the tables instead of imagerel32 relocations. Also fixes a cache invalidation bug in MMI personality classification. llvm-svn: 238575
* Rename Win64Exception.(cpp|h) to WinException.(cpp|h)Reid Kleckner2015-05-281-0/+61
This is in preparation for reusing this for 32-bit x86 EH table emission. Also updates the type name for consistency. NFC llvm-svn: 238521
